Associating Users and Rooms (FrontRow Audio Hardware)
Users should be assigned to Rooms when using FrontRow audio devices and the MyFrontRow App.
When FrontRow Devices are set up within the Boxlight Admin Panel they must be assigned to Rooms to be visible to users. In addition, assigning Users to Rooms creates a connection to ensure that only the users who are teaching in a specific room have access to the appropriate devices.
Admin users always have access to all FrontRow audio devices.
Prerequisites:
- Follow the instructions to create Rooms and Users.
- A FrontRow licence is required for all users who need to use the FrontRow app. If you require a licence speak to your FrontRow rep.
Editing Users
Find the user you wish to edit from the Users section, and click the 3 dots icon on the right hand side. Then, select Edit.

Select the “Rooms” tab. Select a school, followed by the Room you wish to assign to the user, followed by the purple arrow icon to submit.

Once this has been done, the connection is visible along the bottom. If the user teaches in different locations, even in different schools, repeat the steps as necessary.
